Located on Sixth Street in front of the Random Play video store, this building will be your go-to spot for enhancing the Drives you earn. Bardic Needle Store Tuning Details
Know What You Unlock From The Start
When you unlock the Bardic Needle, you canspend Master Copies to do Tuningto produce Drive Discs while playing various soundtracks. Since any Agent gains improved combat abilities from a Drive Disc, you’ll be returning to this shop often to generate Discs as you pull new teammates. Tuning can be a great way to create items to strengthen thefree characters inZenless Zone Zerowho join your group at the beginning of the game.
Track Settings are also made accessible when you first enter the Bardic Needle. Selecting a certain Drive Disc Set from these settings will allow you to increase its drop rate to 100% when you attempt to tune for specific materials for your Agents. When you produce items you have an abundance of or don’t want, you canchoose to Dismantle Drive Discswithin the shop and recycle them into more valuable resources.
Master Copies and Plating Agents will both drop from a dismantled Drive Disc, but the specific item you receive depends on the rarity of the material you destroy in the Bardic Needle.
Youcannot recover dismantled Drive Discs, so be careful about which ones you choose to get rid of. All Discs that you have already produced from tuning will appear in the Bardic Needle’s extensive Database, where you can check the name, effect, and appearance of these items again. Use this place as a reference to see what traits a Disc has before you dismantle it or try to create it through basic tuning.
How To Upgrade The Bardic Needle
Level Up To Unlock Additional Features
The Bardic Needle starts at Level 1, butthe store can be upgraded twice as your Inter-Knot Level growsthroughout your experiences in the game.Completing Dailies inZenless Zone Zeroand other tasks can help you progress to higher levels quickly. Reaching certain Level prerequisites will not only give you new features but also improve pre-existing mechanics you’ve grown accustomed to.
Unlock Requirements
Level 1
Simply unlock the Bardic Needle Shop at the beginning of the game.
Reach Inter-knot Level 40.
Level 2 New Features
Upon reaching Level 2, the Bardic Needleunlocks Intermediate Tuning and Partition Selectionon top of the store’s normal systems. At the start, you only have access to Beginner Tuning to transform Audio Booster Master Copies into B or A-Rank Disc Drives. This upgrade allows you to use Noise Reduction Master Copies into S-Rank Discs, which are much stronger items for yourbest characters inZenless Zone Zero.
While Intermediate Tuning does use rarer materials to make better Drive Discs than Beginner Tuning, you will not always get an S-Rank Disc of the highest rarity and strength from this process.
Partition Selection refers to thesix Partition slots all Agents have to equip Drive Discsof various numbers. Discs have assigned numbers to them, but you could never tune Discs for a specific slot available for a character before since you had to rely on random generation. Reaching Level 2 at the Bardic Needle gives you a way to assign what Partition slot a tuned Drive Disc will be for ahead of time to make the process easier.
Level 3 New Features
Level 3 for the Bardic Needlegives you Advanced Tuning and Main Stat Orientationwhenever you visit the store. Advanced Tuning is a natural upgrade of Intermediate Tuning by using Hi-Fi Master Copies to produce S-Rank Drive Discs again. However,Advanced Tuning guarantees an S-Rank Disc every time, ensuring that you will always gain items of the highest power whenever you tune.
All Drive Discs have a Main Stat and Random Stats that are normally randomized as you tune for them. With Main Stat Orientation, you canchoose the Base Stat of a Drive Discthat you are about to tune within the store. With every upgrade to the Bardic Needle inZenless Zone Zero, you can gain better Drive Discs to fine-tune character builds and maximize the potential of your best Agents.
