The 2025 calendar for CS2 esports is looking packed.
United Arab Emiatares-based tournament organizer YaLLa Esports will come back with two “S-tier” CS2 events in 2025 after a successful experience with the $400,000 YaLLa Compass earlier this year.
The 2025 YaLLa Compass events, however, will distribute $1.5 million in prize pool. According toHLTV.org, the first LAN tournament is scheduled for April 15 to 20, while the second will most likely occur at the year’s end. Both of them will take place across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The open qualifiers for the next YaLLa Compass will kick off at the end of this month, and YaLLa Esports will presumably fill the rest of the team list by inviting teams following Valve’s official world rankings. This year’s YaLLa Compass saw The MongolZ and Ninjas in Pyjamas reach the grand finals, with the former emerging victorious and taking $200,000 home.

As highlighted by HLTV.org, CS2 teams and players will have plenty of tournaments to play in 2025. As of the moment, there are 25 LAN tournaments scheduled for next year.
Although this number is big, it comes as no surprise after Valve told tournament organizers ESL and BLAST to shut down their partnership programs and move to an open ecosystem. This was the opportunity other tournament organizers such as PGL, StarLadder, and now YaLLa Esports were waiting for to start running more CS2 events.
