The live broadcast for the World of Warcraft Arena World Championship (WoW AWC) will kick off this weekend. Read on for the WoW AWC 2023 details!
World of Warcraft Arena World Championship
ThisWorld of Warcraft esportstournament will kick off its official live broadcast between Jan. 20 through Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. PST. It will feature the first cup of the season. Teams will duke it out against each other for points and a place in the Season 1 WoW AWC Grand Finals.
Here’s when these Cups will be happening:
The matches will be under the double-elimination and best-of-five format,according to Blizzard. When these Season 1 Cups are over, the Season 1 WoW AWC Grand Finals will occur and feature a $300,000 prize pool.
Teams will also get a chance at the Season 1 WoW AWC Grand Finals through the AWC Gauntlet tournament. This will involve a single-elimination bracket where the last-standing team from each region will earn a place in the big event.

“If the competition wasn’t already exciting enough, these Cups will present a plethora of new additions to the Arena World Championship, including both The Nokhudon Proving Grounds and Evokers,“Blizzard recently announced.
The Nokhudon Proving Grounds refer to a zone in the new expansion. Meanwhile, Evokers refer to the latest playable class in World of Warcraft.
Additionally, players who complete a full AWC Cup will get the newThundering Banner of the Aspectsin-game item.
