The Contagions Vulnerability Robotic Infirmary Engineer, or Curie, is a companion players can find inFallout 4. She is a robot that can be found in a secret location and has a fair amount of benefits if you make her your companion. She isvery good at healing, so if you find yourself struggling to keep your health up, she is a great companion to pick to stay with you.
There are manycompanions to choose from inFallout 4, some of which can be romanced and some cannot. They allprovide some form of gift to you, and some also provide an ability. If you reach a certain affinity with them, they will also provide you with a perk geared toward their personality. Curie has quite a strong healing perk, and she has a lot fewer dislikes than other companions so that you canearn her favor fairly quickly.

Where To Find Curie
Secret Location In Vault 81
The first thing you must do to find Curie islocate and enter Vault 81 inFallout 4. This makes it possible to start a newside quest called Hole In The Wall, which is the only way to open up the secret portion of the Vault behind a wall. This allows you to go through the complex and open it up. You will also need tofinish Here Kitty, Kitty within the Vault.
Vault 81 is locatedWest of Diamond City, and you will need three Fusion Coresto enter it. You can only complete Hole In The Wall after doing the Here Kitty, Kitty quest, which isgiven by Erin Combes,who is also in Vault 81. Only after that can you receive the required quest from the overseer.
To actually reach Curie, you will have to pass a high-difficulty door terminal. You can eithergrab the Hacker skill or simply bring along Nick Valentine.
Once you reach Curie within the hidden location, you will want tofree her and complete the quest. At this point, she will offer to join you, and youcan send her to asettlement inFallout 4or have her become your companionimmediately. She was stuck in a lab after completing a cure-all for many infections for over eighty years.

Curie mainlyfunctions as a healerinFallout 4, making her valuable to many players. She is also a fun companion; despite her robot nature, she can be romanced. You will have to complete her “Emergent Behavior” quest, which can happen as soon as you achieve an affinity of 250 with her. To finish the quest, you will have to have finished themain story mission, Dangerous Minds, and at the end of it, she will end up in the Synth body.
You cannot increase affinity with herpast 499before completing Emergent Behavior.
Herold body is still interactable; shewill have her former inventory and can comment with her voice. It will, however, default back to its original state and discard any mods or upgrades you gave it. If you achieve maximum affinity with Curie, you will receive the Combat Medic Perk, whichallows you to heal 100 HP if you fall below 10% of your HP every 24 hours. She will also give you Stimpaks as her potential gift. Her Miss Nanny form has a buzzsaw and a laser gun, while her upgraded Synth form has a Laser Rifle.

There are other quest-specific ways to gain affinity with Curie, but themain thing to keep in mind is to stay peaceful. You cannot steal, pickpocket, or initiate combat with non-hostiles. You cannot pick any option that makes you look “greedy,” such as attempting to increase payment. And you cannot get addicted to Chems. Luckily, she helps you avoid that by giving you Stimpaks.
