Terry Silver seems to have been thoroughly dealt with going intoCobra Kaiseason 6. The villain, who first appeared inThe Karate Kid Part 3in 1989, returned to the Valley in season 4 and became an even more significant threat in season 5. His wealth and cruelty made it seem as if there would be no beating him, and it looked for a time that Silver would be the primary villain for the remainder ofCobra Kai. However, the combined efforts of Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang karate saw Terry Silver come to justice—but is he gone for good?
At theend ofCobra Kaiseason 5, the inter-dojo drama came to a head, and Johnny Lawrence, Chozen Toguchi, and Mike Barnes headed to Terry Silver’s house to deal with the villain once and for all. Moreover, the sign for Cobra Kai is thrown into a dumpster, and the dojo’s doors seem to be closed for good. There were some voiced concerns throughout the first batch ofCobra Kaiseason 6 episodesthat Silver might have found a way to exact his revenge on Daniel and Johnny. In episode 3, “Sleeper,” a ticking package arrived at the LaRusso home, and Johnny and Daniel both feared that it was a bomb somehow sent by Silver.

However, the box was only a gender-reveal device for Johnny and Carmen’s baby. Little else was said about Silver inCobra Kaiseason 6, part 1, indicating that the threat really is gone.
Could Terry Silver Still Return?
Anything Is Possible In Cobra Kai
Of course, this isn’t the first time aCobra Kaivillainhas been put behind bars. John Kreese was arrested in season 4 but managed a rather outrageous breakout in season 5. If he could do it, thenit’s certainly possible that Terry Silver could get out of prison as well, especially considering his wealth and power. After part 1, there were 10 episodes left inCobra Kaiseason 6, where anything could happen. Perhaps Silver will make one last return. However, it seems likely at this point in the game that John Kreese will beCobra Kai’s final villain.
Terry Silver Is Back In Cobra Kai Season 6, Part 2
A Co-Showrunner Is Even Playing His Attorney
It was always a given that Terry Silver could return, no matter how much it looked like he had fallen at the hands of Daniel, Johnny, Chozen, and Mike. However, when Terry shows back up in season 6, part 2, it still surprises the characters, who thought they had put the man behind them.Terry is back with the Sekai Taikai. He is responsible for the Iron Dragons, pitting him against Miyagi-Do Karate and John Kreese’s team in the final season.Co-showrunner Hayden Schlossberg plays Terry’s attorneyin the season:
“I’ve always loved the Terry Silver character, not that Jon and Josh haven’t. But I’ve been vocal online about my passion for that character, and I’ve always enjoyed defending the character and encouraging people to view things from his perspective. And it’s funny because you watch Karate Kid 3, and he’s just one of the worst human beings alive.

And yet, that’s only from one perspective, and we love on this show to delve deep into the past of these characters, so I’ve always been vocal about that with Terry Silver and encouraging people to view things from his perspective… I started throwing out there the possibility of just being his defense attorney, because I like the idea of getting him off and allowing him to be unleashed in this final season, just as a fun inside joke.”
This return also shakes things up forCobra Kai’sfinal season. With Terry in jail, it was almost assured that John Kreese would be the final major villain. However, with Terry back, it comes down to who is worse and whether it will end up being Miyagi-Do Karate against the world again. It is not just Miyagi-Do Karate against Cobra Kai anymore. There are even worse villains in the final season. With thisCobra Kaiending, it is only fair for Terry Silver to get his final run in the franchise.
