Today’s Connections Category Hints
JULY 10 #394
If you are struggling with putting together today’s categories for theConnectionspuzzle, you are in luck because we have the categories ready for you. We managed to put them together and have listed them below:
OUTLOOK
PROSPECT
This group of words was fairly easy to put together, as none of the other words have anything to do with the future. OUTLOOK and FORECAST looked like they went quite well together, and CHANCE is often used in a forecast to talk about things like precipitation and temperature. PROSPECT was the only other word that had anything to do with future problems and made the most sense out of the remaining words.
LIP
SASS
This one was kind of fun and gave the puzzle a bit of an edge. ATTITUDE and SASS were the ones that stood out the most, and CHEEK and LIP were fairly quick to be added in as the only other word that could be a body part is TEMPLE, and it did not seem to fit in with this category.
5 Letter Words Wordle Hasn’t Used Yet (Updated Daily)
Wordle, the popular word-guessing game hosted by The New York Times, has over 1,700 words remaining as possible solutions.
PERCH
PIKE
Another fishy category, this one had the FLUKE as the one that was not as recognizable as the others. A standard fair of a few popular fish for BASS, PIKE, and PERCH made it easier to guess the category, but figuring out what the obscure fish was was more challenging. Luckily we didn’t know about any eye-related fish.
RIM
TEMPLE
BRIDGE was probably the hardest word to add in here, as LENS, RIM, and TEMPLE all felt more like head-and-eye related words. While we did not know what the category was actually going to be, picking BRIDGE by necessity allowed us to finish the puzzle and see what the category actually was. Knowing it is supposed to be eyeglass components made us realize that that is the piece going over your nose.
