Charly made it to the final stages of training camp onAmerica’s Sweethearts,while Kelly was cut a bit earlier.“I’m not sure if I’ll ever be able to process the fact that my lifelong dream has come true,”Kellyexplained in her own post, sharing photos of her audition process, as well. Both Women Returned To Audition For A Second Time
ThroughoutAmerica’s Sweethearts,Charly andKelly were both focal points of the docu-seriesas their auditions and training camp performances were on the precipice of being good enough to make the squad. Kelly, originally from New Jersey, shared that being a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader has been her dream for nearly the entirety of her life. Growing up a dancer, she felt supported by her family but constantly felt like she wasn’t reaching out far enough. After undergoing a major makeover as guided by the DCC coaches,Kelly fell just shy of making the team during her first year of auditions.
Charly, who also shared that it was her dream to become a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, managed to make it to the tail end of training camp during her first cycle auditioning. Close with Reece throughout the season,Charly was one of the final cutsmade at the end of training camp, and it didn’t feel like the coaches genuinely wanted her to leave. Unfortunately, there wasn’t space for Charly on the roster, and the coaches had no other choice. Thankfully,both women were able to make it through, becoming members of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleading teamfor the 2024-2025 season.
