Summary
TheMCUalready introduced its easiest method for bringing Daredevil intoAvengers 5in 2022. Daredevil’s story inthe MCU timelinehas been rife with surprises, despite the character having only returned to screens two years ago. However, since then, Daredevil has been legal counsel for Spider-Man and fought Echo, though these moments saw far less fan surprise than the encounter between the Devil Of Hell’s Kitchen and She-Hulk, which saw the pair form a slightly complicated but relatively comic-accurate romantic connection.
With Murdock’s own solo show on the horizon, it will be interesting to see if the hero forms new bonds with other established MCU characters, or if the series primarily focuses on the NetflixDaredevilroster that is returning in theDaredevil: Born Againcast. Whatever the case though, there’s already a fully primed way the franchise could bring Daredevil intothe story ofAvengers 5, regardless of whether he’s even met the majority of the MCU movie’s main figures.

Every Upcoming Marvel Movie: Full MCU Phase 6 List (& Beyond)
With Marvel Studios' MCU now dominating the upcoming release slate for Marvel movies, here’s what to expect in the coming years and beyond.
She-Hulk’s Daredevil & Avengers Connections Sets Up The Easiest Avengers 5 Debut
WhileShe-Hulk: Attorney At Law’s reveal of She-Hulk and Daredevil’s tryst was played for laughs, it also provided the universe with an easy way to call upon the Man Without Fear forAvengers 5. Though Jennifer and Matt aren’t depicted as in a strictly serious relationship, it’s clear they have a positive connection built on trust, and in times of trouble would thus be likely to call on one another for help.
Since She-Hulk is a prime candidate forAvengers 5’s hero roster due to her high-profile nature in-universe and her ties to the Hulk - and sinceAvengers: The Kang Dynastyseems set to bring a colossal threat to the MCU’s doorstep - it’s likely that any and all heroes available will be called upon if possible, especially if this lets a bigger group then go on intothe plot ofAvengers 6. With all this in mind, such a colossal catastrophe would warrant She-Hulk calling Daredevil up to join the fray, and it’s unlikely he’d say no if the universe or multiverse was at stake.

Why She-Hulk Bringing Daredevil Into Avengers 5 Makes The Most Sense
With only Daredevil and Punisher having been concretely confirmed in terms of Netflix Marvel heroes returning in the MCU, the connections that Murdock has in the community are more limited. Daredevil did help Spider-Man with his legal battles inSpider-Man: No Way Home, but Peter never learned of Murdock’s secret identity, and the lawyer presumably has forgotten that Parker and his hero persona are one and the same. Daredevil has also interacted with Echo, but it’s unlikely the pair would know how to contact one another, and perhaps less likely that Maya Lopez is on the Avengers' recruit list.
Given this lineup,She-Hulk is currently Daredevil’s main tie to the MCU’s focal heroes, and thus the most viable way for him to be brought into the fold inAvengers 5. This is compounded by the fact that Jennifer knows Matt’s hero and civilian identities, meaning that even if Daredevil does end up working with new heroes inDaredevil: Born Again,She-Hulk may still have the most pressing link to him.
Why Daredevil Needs To Be In The Multiverse Saga’s Avengers Movies
Discussions surrounding how Daredevil could appear in the Avengers movies and what routes are most likely to take him into the spotlight in the films are pressing matters for audiences because of the importance the Marvel hero has both in the comic lore, and in the MCU specifically.Daredevil has been a cornerstone of the comics for decades, and his consistent popularity is arguably comparable with the likes of Iron Man or Captain America, meaning that it seems natural for him to be a central figure now he’s been reintroduced on-screen, even if he’s a generally more grounded hero.
On a similar note, the MCU is at a place where it needs big-name heroes to take over from the characters whose stories ended in the Infinity Saga. While the franchise has plenty to draw from, Daredevil’s history in the Netflix series and steady build-up make him one of the more exciting prospects to choose from. As such, having the hero feature inAvengers 5andAvengers 6seems the wisest move for the MCU, even if the current most straightforward way to bring him into it is perhaps a little unconventional.
