Taking place in a retro-futuristic version of the 1960s, it’s expected thatFantastic Four: First Stepswill essentially have a kind of Tomorrowland-type vibe as Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm (Vanessa Kirby), and Ben Grimm (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) all gain their power and become a family of superheroes. However, this new announcement from Marvel Studios suggestsThe Fantastic Four won’t remain in their alternate reality for long.
With the confirmation that both Galactus and his herald Silver Surfer are set to be featured in the upcoming MCU movie, it’s not hard to imagine the cosmic World Devourer consuming The Fantastic Four’s world or even entire reality.It would be a tragic act that could force Marvle’s First Family to find a new home in the multiverse, perhaps Earth-616.
