DuringThe Bacheloretteseason 21 episode 2,Aaron had some extreme reactions to Devin Strader, a 28-year-old freight company owner from Houston, Texas. When both men were on a group date in Australia, Devin stole Jenn away to have some gelato together in a private moment. Aaron was infuriated by this because he thought that a group date should consist of only group activities. However, especially since his own brother was once a contestant on the show, he should’ve known that men are always stealing the lead away for some one-on-one time.
Later in the episode, at the group date cocktail party, Devin stole Jenn away from Aaron by bringing her an ice cream sundae. However,Aaron then returned tosteal Jenn back, and then Devin once again did the same.It was a ridiculous display, and appeared to be completely fabricated by the producers.

Aaron later expressed that he couldn’t stop thinking about Devin. It was an unreasonable reaction because,not only should Aaron have had his mind on Jenn, but Devin’s actions weren’t that bad. It was also strange that he forgot Devin’s name and called him"Dylan"twice, especially since he was so focused on him. This could show that he didn’t really care about Devin, but was just doing as the producers told him to.
Aaron decided to give Devin a book about self-improvement titled,Principles for Self-Growth: How to Understand Yourself and Gain Emotional Depthby Dr. Brandon O. Conner. This was reminiscent of whenThe Bacheloretteseason 16 contestant Bennett Jordan gave Aaron’s brother Noah a book calledOn Emotional Intelligencebecause he felt that, at age 25, Noah was too immature for Bachelorette Tayshia Adams.
It was strange that Aaron never mentioned that Noah had received a book. Even worse, an Internet search proves thatthe book and author don’t seem to exist outside of the show. Not only that, but the book’s spine has an obvious misprint, as it says,“Priciples for Self-Growth,“which is very suspicious.It appears that the producers might’ve created this book for Aaronto give to Devin, to stir up trouble and bring back memories of Noah receiving a similar one. It’s hard to believe that Aaron would care that much about Devin that he’d try to help him on a path to self-improvement.

It’s Suspicious That He Appeared On The Bachelorette While Awaiting Acceptance To Flight School
During hisBacheloretteseason 21 premiere package, (shared in part on theBacheloretteInstagram page),Aaron shared that, for the last two and a half years, he’s been applying to fighter unitsbecause he wants to be an F-22 Raptor pilot. Aaron said that he’s"superexcited to chase that dream.”
According toReality Steve, at some point during week 3,Aaron self-eliminated fromThe Bacheloretteseason 21because he got accepted to a flight schooland had to leave immediately or lose his chance of getting his pilot’s license. Reality Steve heard that he’s going to be"edited like a hero that he’s leaving the show to fly for our country.”
It’s very suspicious that Aaron would agree to be a contestant onThe Bachelorette, knowing that he might be called away to go to flight school. Perhaps the producers knew all along that there was a possibility that he’d leave, so they just cast him to make some noise before he left. His dream to be a pilot is obviously more important to him than finding love with Jenn.

Now that some of the season has played out, it seems that this happened right before Aaron left for flight school. If this is the case, then it’s one more example ofAaron bringing producer-created drama to the showbefore he made his exit.
Although there’s no definitive proof that Aaron is a producer plant, the evidence points in that direction. He seemed like more of a friend to her than anything else, and this could be because he was never meant to be anything more. If Aaron was a producer plant, it’s a good thing that he can now pursue his dream of going to flight school and leave Jenn to fulfill her dream of finding the true love of her life onThe Bacheloretteseason 21.
