Hakuro Meets His Daughter for the First Time
Episode #16 ofThat Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slimebegan with a flashback, showing Benimaru’s first contact with the Tengu, which didn’t go particularly smoothly, as the representative they spoke to, Momiji, mistook the presence of one of the Beastketeers, Albis, as a veiled threat towards seizing their lands. After helping things de-escalate, Benimaru was able to speak to the Tengu leader, Kaede, briefly, and learned that she was willing to entertain their idea of building a tunnel through Tengu land, so long as Benimaru himself would marry Momiji. In shock, Benimaru said that he needed time to weigh this decision, and returned to Tempest.
In the present day, the Tengu delegation arrives for their audience with Rimuru, led by Momiji. Momiji is distrustful of Rimuru, even as he insists he has no intention of taking their territory, but they soon figure out that it’s due to past conflict with the former demon lord Frey that they are so suspicious. Once it’s made clear that Rimuru has no intention of allowing Frey to harm the Tengu, Momiji is able to relax a bit and open up for friendlier relations. That’s about the time when Hakuro returns from Falmuth, and Momiji lays eyes on her father for the first time. Hakuro is equally surprised to find he has a daughter, but embraces the role gladly.

Episode 17 ofThat Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slimeseason 3 is entitled “The Lightspeed Hero.” As Rimuru holds a meeting to get the final preparations for the festival underway, he receives a report from Soei about the Elven slave trade that Mjollmiles told him about. Soei reveals that the group behind the slave trading has already been defeated by a man known as the Lightspeed Hero, Masayuki. Rimuru immediately recognizes the name as Japanese and begins to suspect that Masayuki is an otherworlder like him. However, Masayuki has already declared the demon lord Rimuru as his next target…
Based on chapter 107 of the manga, fans can expect a detailed look into how Masayuki first arrived in this world, and all the powers that he, like Rimuru, was granted upon entering it. Masayuki also seems to have an existing relationship with Yuuki Kagurazaka, a fellow otherworlder and leader of the Free Guild. There will also be some additional work in getting the labyrinth set up in time for the festival, with a few newcomers involved, destined to become floor bosses within the massive dungeon.
