In an interview withIGN, the outlet asked if there may be cameos from other universes inSuperman & Loisseason 4. While they didn’t reveal specifics, Lois Lane actor Elizabeth Tulloch teased a surprise cameo in theSuperman & Loisseries finale, while co-showrunner Todd Helbing added that there are actually more, stating the following:
Elizabeth Tulloch: And then there is a surprise cameo in the [series] finale.
Todd Helbing: [Laugh] A couple, yes.
Why Superman & Lois Is Ending After Season 4
Superman & Lois will officially end with the show’s fourth season, and there are a number of factors playing into the show’s conclusion.
Could There Be Arrowverse Cameos In Superman & Lois Season 4?
Ever since the end ofSuperman & Loisseason 2, the show’s placement in the Arrowverse has been tricky, as the series was confirmed to take place on another Earth. However, given thatSuperman & Loisstill uses actors from the other Arrowverse for other characters like John Diggle and Lucy Lane, along with Clark Kent and Lois Lane themselves,Superman & Loisis still Arrowverse-adjacent.The Flash’sTom Cavanagh will even appear inSuperman & Loisseason 4as a new character, emphasizing the multiverse point once again.
That leaves the door wide open for Arrowverse actors to pop up inSuperman & Loisseason 4, even if it would be as doppelgängers to their Earth-Prime counterparts. Seeing someone like Melissa Benoist appear as this Earth’s Kara Zor-El, even for one scene, would be a nice way to properly answer where characters like Supergirl are at in this universe. It also wouldn’t be shocking if David Ramsey comes back one last time as Diggle, giving an update on what is going on with him in this continuity.
Since they established that there aren’t other superpowered heroes in the world ofSuperman & Lois, it would be hard to getGrant Gustin as The Flashunless this Earth’s Barry Allen got his powers very recently. The other option for a Gustin cameo is if the Earth-Prime version were to crossover from his world into theSuperman & Loisuniverse. But for now, the world will have to wait and see what cameos are in store inSuperman & Loisseason 4.
