Dreamer Meets Deadshot DC

Unfortunately, Bizarro is shot down by a kryptonite bullet. Dreamer heads to confront Waller, who reveals the assassin that felled Bizarro: Floyd Lawton, aka Deadshot.Waller calls Deadshot another one of her favorite assets, subtly using his skills to threaten Dreamer to keep her in line.

Out of all the people who have served on the Suicide Squad, Deadshot’s survived longer than most. He’s been there since the team’s very first incarnation and has used his amazing marksman skills to complete dozens, if not hundreds of missions on Amanda Waller’s orders. Deadshot’s days on Task Force X came to an end when he was killed by Black Mask, but he was later revived with Lazarus Resin and served as a member of the ghastly Task Force Z, where he lamented that even in death,Deadshot was still forced to work for the Suicide Squad.

Deadshot Gripping Guns and Looking Out DC

It’s no wonder why Waller is fond of Deadshot. Aside from the fact that he’s quite good at what he does, he shows a tenacity that few Task Force X members do. Not to mention that as much as he hates Waller, he generally falls in line. Waller has become quite enamored with what Dreamer can do, largely because of her ability to see the future. But Dreamer requires far more effort to bring in line than Lawton ever has. While Deadshot has rebelled in the past against Waller, she knows that Deadshot always ends up on her side.

Assassins in the DC Universe are a dime a dozen. Not only is Deadshot arguably the best shot around, but he’s also someone who Waller knows how to work. Dreamer is young, impulsive, and above all, a hero. Deadshot is someone who lives his life in a world of gray and Waller can manipulate that much more easily than an idealist like Dreamer. Deadshot having flawless aim is just a bonus. He might not be able to see the future, but Waller is always going to see Deadshot as one of the best assets she’s ever had on theSuicide Squad.
