The Jem’Hadar are one ofStar Trek’sfiercest alien races, but Lore’s new army makes them look weak in comparison. During last year’sDay of Bloodevent, Lore embarked on his most ambitious plan to date: to become a god. Taking with him Kahless’ Red Path,Lore has been absent for a few months, but makes his return inStar Trek Annual 2024, with a mighty new army.
Star Trek Annual 2024is written by Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly and drawn by Rachael Stott. Data, who has taken leave of Starfleet,teams up with Chief Miles O’Briento help him find Lore. Their quest takes them across the quadrant, from Farius Prime to a massive space station orbiting a black hole. Boarding the station, Data and O’Brien, now joined by Geordi La Forge, find Lore. Lore kills the Klingon scientist Korath, and then takes Data’s head.

Lore has never had issues raising an army, but his new one, unveiled inStar Trek Annual 2024,makes the Jem’Hadar look weak. The shock troopers of the Dominion, the Jem’Hadar live for one thing: violence. Feared throughout the galaxy, the Jem’Hadar are regarded for their brutality, but Lore’s army could easily give them a run for the money. Lore saw the mistakes Kahless made duringDay of Blood. Not wishing to repeat them, Lore has created one of the scariest armies inStar Trekhistory, one he can control through drugs, technology and brutality.
