There have already been rumblings that Juliette survived her"cleaning” inSilo. Though, any expectations of the character returning to Silo 18 have seemed slim, even to Bernard. Her return would not only complicate the mayor’s plans to gain control over Silo 18’s citizens, but it would give Mechanical and the others justification for a rebellion, motivating citizens to fight back against IT. Juliette can be that spark again, but her return has relied on a proper suit, which Solo questions in “The Safeguard.”

Juliette Didn’t Need To Help The Other Silo 17 Survivors Get Into Solo’s Vault
Much of Juliette’s time in Silo 17 was spent searching for a new suit to use to travel back home. The suit she used to get to the other silo was torn, essentially stranding her until she encountered Solo. After acquiring intel from Solo, Juliette set out to find a firefighter’s suit as a replacement. However, attaining one required her to dive into a flooded area of the silo. In “The Safeguard,“Juliette discovers a second suit in the Head of IT’s apartment, leaving Solo to question why she didn’t leave after finding the gear.
Juliette could have easily taken off after finding IT’s environmental suit to get back to Silo 18.

Finding a replacement suit was Juliette’s primary mission throughout Silo season 2. Finding the initial firefighter’s suit was a difficult task, but the challenges didn’t stop there, since there was still the matter of finding a helmet and dealing with Solo hiding her firefighter’s suit. That said, Juliette could have easily taken off after finding IT’s environmental suit to get back to Silo 18. Instead, she keeps the discovery hidden and decides to keep helping the others find the code to get into the vault. The decision ultimately saves Solo’s life in the process.

When Juliette brings up the existence of the second suit, Solo directly asks her why she didn’t use it to leave. Rather than answer, Juliette gets emotional, causing Solo to put his hand on her shoulder as a sign of appreciation, respect, and possibly even remorse. He took her replacement suit and didn’t tell her about the second IT suit. Even after putting all of the pieces together,Juliette still helps the Silo 17 survivors before continuing on her own journey, proving her selflessness.

Rather than leave them to fend for themselves, Juliette ensures that they get access to supplies in the vault without any more blood being spilled. Based on the reactions of the other survivors inseeing what’s inside a silo’s vaultand the food they now have access to, Juliette likely gave the group another chance at survival.
