Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, A72, and Tab S7+ get the One UI 4.1 update
Samsung’s efforts to bring One UI 4.1 to its existing devices continue to impress. After the Galaxy S22 introduced us to the software in February, the companyannounced it would bring One UI 4.1to Galaxy S, Fold/Flip, and A-series devices beginning in mid-March. Now we’re checking out the latest phones to receive updates of their own.
In the last week of March, Samsung gave us the One UI 4.1 update for the carrier-lockedGalaxy Note10variants in the US, the 4G-only model of the S20 FE (viaSamMobile), and the Galaxy A52s 5G and A71 5G in South Korea and parts of Europe (viaXDA) complete with the March 2022 security patch. The update for the Galaxy A52s should resolve the performance woes that owners werefacing after installing One UI 4. Updates also started landing forGalaxy A51(viaSamsung community), Galaxy Z Fold3, M52, and F62 users. The A51 was due to receive itsAndroid 12/One UI 4 build, but it skipped right to One UI 4.1, the first device in Samsung’s roster to do so.

Since the beginning of April, the company has further expanded the rollout to include the originalGalaxy Z Flip, the Z Flip 5G, and the carrier-locked variants of the S20 FE 5G in the US (viaSamMobile). The Galaxy A72 is also getting the One UI 4.1 update with the March 2022 patch in Russia and other parts of the world. On the tablet side, One UI 4.1 isnow availablefor theGalaxy Tab S7+with the T976BXXU2CVCD firmware.
So far, Samsung has released One UI 4.1 for the following devices. Much of this software is initially limited to specific regions, before seeing wider availability:

You can check and download the One UI 4.1 update for your Galaxy device by going toSettings > Software updateand tapping theDownload and installbutton. There are severalnew features in One UI 4.1, including a redesigned palette picker, improved Portrait mode with pet recognition, Samsung Pay enhancements, and Smart Calendar.
