How Deadpool & Wolverine Could Fit In Future Avengers Movies

The Multiverse Saga Needs Major Stars

The MCU has been struggling in recent years after the major stars left and a few projects underperformed. As such, Marvel’s Multiverse Saga needs all the talent it can get to help turn things around. WithDeadpool & Wolverinealready breaking records without even premiering, Marvel should be keen to keep Reynolds and Jackman around as their X-Men characters, even if one of them leaves after a few more movies.

At 55, Jackman is too old to play the MCU’s Wolverine in Marvel’s planned X-Men movie. However, before the team is brought into the MCU, he could appear alongside Reynolds inAvengers 5andAvengers: Secret Wars. With Deadpool and Wolverine coming into contact withLoki’s TVA and the multiverse in their MCU debut, it would make sense for the characters to play a big role in helping the Avengers take down Kang the Conqueror and his variants — or whatever other threat may arise.

Reynolds also commented on how long he could continue to play Deadpool for, revealing he could see himself in either solo films or “being part of an ensemble,” which could connect to Avengers movies.

Since Deadpool and Wolverine will come from different universes, the duo could join the Avengers to make sure their universes are safe. With a multiversal threat, the Avengers could form a team with heroes from other universes to help the MCU’s main heroes. Tom Hiddleston’s Loki, who is the protector of the multiverse, could also be the one to recruit Deadpool and Wolverine for one of the Avengers films, as he would have a connection to them through the TVA. AfterDeadpool & Wolverine, Jackman’s hero could make a couple more appearances while Reynolds' Deadpool fully moves into the MCU.
