In the movie, Efron will play two characters: Lance Dunkquist and James Jansen. While Jansen is a handsome Hollywood heartthrob, Dunkquist is a regular guy who looks exactly like the star. Looking for a major life change, Dunkquist decides to travel to California and use his famous face to become a celebrity. The movie is based on a book written by Blake Crouch.
In this way, I’m thrilled to see Efron putting himself out there once more in a role that could be difficult, but incredibly rewarding.
