Despite this strong cast,Keeping Up with the Joneseswas poorly reviewed,getting a 20% Tomatometer among Rotten Tomatoes critics. Audiences did not seem to like it much better, as their approval rating was only a 37%, and it grossed only $29 million on an estimated $40 million budget.
Keeping Up with the Joneseshas made a streaming recovery nine years later, however, as the movie is now a success on Max. As perFlixPatrol, the Hamm film is now no. 4 on Max’s top 10 movies in the United States today (January 20). The film is also rising on the charts, as it was no. 6 on January 19 and no. 7 on January 18.
