Despite the Creature Commandos being more outlandish characters, Gunn will likely drill down on their core motives, thus emphasizing their humanity. This is the same approach that he took when adaptingGuardians of the Galaxy’sRocket Raccoon, who has one of the most impactful arcs within the entire Marvel Cinematic Universein spite of being an anthropomorphic raccoon. Gunn’s style of writing and directing tends to go all in, with heightened emotions and performances.Creature Commandosis unlikely to deviate from his usual style just because it is animated.
