What This Means For Bunny-Man
Bunny-Man Resembles A Superhero
The first look atBunny-Manshows the superhero in a suit and motorcycle that appears very similar toDC’s classic Batman. Like Batman,Bunny-Man sports all black, in a primarily spandex outfit that includes armor. Like Batman’s bat ears, the animal tie-in to Bunny-Man’s mask also sits atop his head. Unlike The Dark Knight, however, who typically sports his symbol on his chest plate, it appears that Bunny-Man’s only tie-in to a rabbit is the bunny ears on his mask.
Batman: Every Live-Action Arkham Asylum Ranked
There have been several live-action adaptations of the iconic Arkham Asylum, housing Gotham’s most notorious criminals and Batman’s deadliest foes.
As development continues onBunny-Man, it is likely such comparisons could continue to be drawn. This poses a challenge for the film, as it will have to work hard to differentiate itself from other major superheroes. The film’s creative team seems to have high hopes, withIervolino noting that “Bunny-Manwill revolutionize the way we think of superheroes.“In a similar vein, the CEO of Motus Studios, who is involved in the project, said that he and his team “strongly believe in the commercial potential of Bunny-Man.”

Our Take On The Bunny-Man Image
It Will Be Hard For Bunny-Man Not To Be A Comedy
Looking at theBunny-Manimage out of context, one might think that the picture was from a comedy spoof. After all,the suit is so similar to Batman’s that it almost looks like a satirical, rabbit-themed takeon the classic DC villain. Unless the marketing is hiding something major, however, it seems likelyBunny-Manwill be taking a genuine dramatic approach. This will be difficult for the Franco film to master, as audiences who have seenThe Dark Knighttrilogy and other major Batman films will be likely to weigh it against those films.
