How to Manage and Organize Your Tabs in Samsung Internet Browser
If you’re like most people, you have more than a couple dozen tabs open in your mobile browser at any time. When searching for something, most of us just open a new tab, Google it, and close the browser; this builds up more and more clutter over time.
If you own a Galaxy phone and use the built-in Samsung Internet as your default mobile browser, you can benefit from its features that help you organize your tabs. Let’s see how.

1. Pick a Cleaner Tabs Layout
Samsung Internet allows you to view your tabs in three layouts: List, Stack, and Grid. The app uses the List layout by default, but it might not look the most ergonomic to you. To change it, go to the Tabs menu, tap theMore optionsbutton (the three-dots menu), selectView as, and select your desired layout. TapOKto finish.
If you find it cumbersome to switch between tabs, it’s possible to change the position of the address bar in the browser for easier one-handed use by bringing it down at the thumb level, i.e., above the toolbar. From there, you can just swipe on the address bar to switch between adjacent tabs. It’s one of thebest features of Samsung Internet.

2. Group Your Open Tabs
If you keep a lot of tabs open in your browser, it’s a good idea to group the ones that are related. That way, you can stay organized and quickly find what you’re looking for without having to browse through what seems to be an endless list of tabs.
To do this, go to the Tabs menu, tap theMore optionsbutton, selectGroup tabs, then select your desired tabs and tapGroup. Now, give this tab group a name and tapCreate.

3. Lock the Important Tabs
For some reason, Samsung Internet doesn’t let you undo your action when you accidentally close a tab you didn’t mean to. This is such a small yet helpful feature that it’s surprising the browser doesn’t have it.
You might have some important tabs open, and you don’t want to accidentally end up closing them. In that case, it’s possible to lock these tabs in the browser, so it creates a barrier before you can close them. To do so, simply go to the Tabs menu, long-press a tab to select it and tap other tabs to select more, then tapLock.

4. Sync Tabs Across Your Galaxy Devices
Samsung Internet browser is available for Samsung phones, tablets, and watches. If you own multiple Samsung devices, you can sync your open tabs across all of them. To do this, you need to have a Samsung account and sign in to it on all your devices. Setting up an account is one of thefirst things to do when setting up your Samsung phonefor the first time.
To sync your tabs, tap theToolsbutton (the hamburger menu on the toolbar), selectSettings, and toggle onSync with Samsung Cloud. Alongside your open tabs, the browser with sync your saved pages, bookmarks, and quick access shortcuts too.

Make sure Sync is active on all your Galaxy devices. Once done, you can access your synced tabs by going to the Tabs menu, tappingMore options, and selectingSynced tabs.
5. Keep Relevant Bookmarks in a Folder
If you have a lot of bookmarked tabs, you can move them to separate folders the same way you grouped your tabs for better organization. Follow the steps below.
