1. Switch Snap Layouts with a Keyboard Shortcut

To identify the issue, try to snap different apps windows to see if the issue is limited to a specific app.

In addition, check your system to see if it meets the minimum requirement to install Windows 11. While you may install Windows 11 on non-compatible hardware, you may not be able to use all the features, including Snap Layouts.

4. Check for Third-Party App Conflicts

Some third-party apps like PowerToys allow you to customize app window layouts. Using any such app to manage your layout may conflict with the built-in Snap Layouts feature.

To resolve the issue, turn off PowerToys’s FancyZone feature and third-party apps like AquaSnap and check for any improvements. If the issue resolves itself, you will need to remove the app to fix the problem.

5. Use Third-Party Snap Layouts Alternatives

Fortunately, a few third-party alternatives to Windows 11’s Snap Layouts exist. One is Microsoft’s own PowerToys. It comes with the Fancy Zone feature to let youcreate a custom snap layout on Windows 11.

In addition, you can use third-party alternatives such asAquaSnap,DisplayFusion, andMaxToto customize your window layouts. Some of these apps are free, while others may require a purchase to work.

What if Snap Layout Is Not Working on Firefox?

Snap Layouts can stop working on Firefox if the Title bar is disabled. It is a known issue, and you can fix it by enabling the Title Bar option in the browser settings.
