A new Path inHonkai: Star Railmay be underway sooner than expected, according to a leak about upcoming content. Currently, there are seven playable Paths in the game: Destruction, Hunt, Erudition, Nihility, Harmony, Preservation, and Abundance. Nevertheless, many others are mentioned by name frequently – the Trailblaze and the Beauty are examples of such Path. There are also non-playable Paths that appear in various activities, such as the Divergent Universe that came along with therelease ofHonkai: Star Rail2.3, for instance.
Now, however, it seems like a new Path is on its way to becoming playable. According to information obtained by the leaker known as HomDGCat, which was then shared in a post tagged as “Questionable” onReddit,the Path of the Remembrance may become playable in the future. The leaker, who has a track record of accurate leaks, mentions that the Remembrance Trailblazer has been leaked and that this form of the protagonist will be a good pair for the highly rumored Aglaea character inHonkai: Star Rail.

Remembrance Could Become A Playable Path In Honkai: Star Rail
The Path Is Currently Usable In Simulated Universe Blessings
Currently, Remembrance is not a Path that any of the playable characters follow, but it is abundantly present in one of the game’s activities. Players can pick the Path of the Remembrance Blessing while challenging the Simulated Universe. In the activity,this Path’s Blessing is focused on both reducing enemies’ Effect RES and inflicting the Frozen status on opponents. While Frozen, enemies are unable to take action and, upon leaving the state, they take Ice DMG and skip their current turn. Frozen can only be applied by special effects and Ice characters inHonkai: Star Rail.
At the moment, Frozen is not a debuff that is used too frequently. While it does occasionally happen when using Ice characters, it is not at the center of any team comp. If the Remembrance does become a playable Path, however,Frozen may start gaining more focus in specific types of team comps. Of course, as not all characters who worship the Remembrance are, necessarily, using Ice in combat, this Path could also be one focused specifically on reducing Effect RES, which could make it a good pair for Nihility characters inHonkai: Star Rail.
The pace at which the Trailblazer gains new Paths is quite slow– in fact, while it is still too early to determine, this should be an annual occurrence. This means that, even if the leak is accurate, the new Trailblazer form should only arrive in early 2025. Nevertheless, the possibility of Remembrance becoming a playable Path this early on in the game’s roadmap is quite surprising, as seven Paths already offers a lot to work on. Additionally, it opens up the possibility for several other Paths, like Elation, Beauty, Propagation, Enigmata, and others to also become playable inHonkai: Star Rail.
If Remembrance becomes playable, this could also have lore implications, such as the manifestation of Fuli.
For now, as was stated in HomDGCat’s leak, this is predicted for the distant future and should not come along in the upcoming patches. The leak should be taken with caution, as the information may be inaccurate or subject to change. Nevertheless, the mention of Remembrance as a possible playable Path opens up many possibilities and shows that the game still has a lot of space to grow into. For the near future, however, players are soon to witness theHonkai: Star Rail2.4 livestream, which will detail the upcoming content in late July.
