Summary
The list of Jiaoqiu materials inHonkai: Star Rail2.4 has leaked, indicating what he will need to fully Ascend to level 80 and have all of his abilities increased to the maximum level. Jiaoqiu is a new 5-star character who deals Fire DMG against opponents and follows the Path of the Nihility. Alongside Yunli and March 7th’s new form, Jiaoqiu is confirmed to be one of the new characters in the next patch and leaks indicate that he will appear in Phase 2character banners inHonkai: Star Rail2.4. Officially, little is known about Jiaoqiu as a character.
However, several Version 2.4 leaks are highlighting the character’s possible skill set. In fact, some leaks about Jiaoqiu have already detailed that he may work as a debuffer that increases the damage that opponents take. Additionally, the same rumors say Jiaoqiu boosts the Ultimate DMG that enemies suffer. This could mean he is the optimal sub-DPS and support forAcheron’s team comps inHonkai: Star Rail, for instance. This is because Jiaoqiu is both a Nihility character and rumored to be one that boosts Ultimate DMG, the main source of Acheron’s power. Now, new leaks detail Jiaoqiu’s Ascension materials.

All Jiaoqiu Materials In Honkai: Star Rail Have Leaked
Players Can Pre-Farm The Items
According to information obtained by the leaker known as Dim during the Version 2.4 beta, which was then posted onReddit,Jiaoqiu suffered a minor change to some of the materials that he uses in his Ascension. With all the materials listed by quantity, players could plan to pre-farm if they are aware of the risks – pre-farming this early on could lead to farming efforts being proven useless in case the materials required by Jiaoqiu are changed once again before his release. If this happens, players may need to farm the definitive materials after their initial grind.
The list below highlights all the leaked Jiaoqiu materials inHonkai: Star Rail2.4, for both his complete Ascension and Trace-leveling processes:

The overlapping materials, like those of the Immortal Lumintwig family, and Credits for both processes were condensed into a single block.
How & Where To Pre-Farm Jiaoqiu’s Materials For Honkai: Star Rail 2.4
Mustering Up These Items In Advance Can Save You Some Trouble Once The Character Is Released
For players who are aware of the risks and are still willing to pre-farm, they may save some time and effort once the Jiaoqiu is actually released, as long as his materials are not modified once again. However, some of the Jiaoqiu materials are not going to change, regardless there are some modifications during the beta tests. One such example is the amount of Character EXP Materials needed to get Jiaoqiu to level 80. In total, as demonstrated by the leak and based on previous 5-star characters,Jiaoqiu will need 290 Traveler’s Guide inHonkai: Star Rail.
Of course, these items can only be used during level thresholds, and players will have to unlock his various Ascension stages to enable leveling Jiaoqiu. According to the leak, one of the materials that players will need to farm for is Raging Heart. This is an Ascension material that is exclusive to Fire characters in the game.Raging Heart can be farmed at Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Ire, an activity that is located in the City Sandpit map in Dewlight Pavilion on Penacony. For reference, Raging Heart is also one of Gallagher’s andFirefly’s materials inHonkai: Star Rail.

In addition to that, Jiaoqiu’s leaked materials so far also include Immortal Scionette, Immortal Aeroblossom, and Immortal Lumintwig, all of which are part of the same item family. These materials drop from Abundance Sprites, Disciples of Sanctus Medicus, and Mara-Struck Soldiers all over the Xianzhou Luofu maps. Players can easily farm these through daily Assignments or by running activities that feature these enemies. The best activity to farm Immortal Scionette and its evolved forms is Calyx (Crimson): Bud of Nihilityin the Alchemy Commission map on the Xianzhou Luofu. This is becauseHonkai: Star Railplayers can overlap farming efforts.
Honkai Star Rail 2.4 Leaks: Everybody’s Favorite Character May Be The First To Get A Skin
The first skin may finally be released in Honkai: Star Rail if new Version 2.4 leaks are to be believed – and they may be for a fan-favorite unit.
By running Calyx (Crimson): Bud of Nihility in the Alchemy Commission, players can farm Immortal Scionette because most of the enemies featured in it are Mara-Struck Soldiers and variations. Additionally,by completing the activity, players get Fiery Spirit, Starfire Essence, and Heaven Incinerator, the next three items on Jiaoqiu’s leaked list of materials. These three items, exclusively used to increase Nihility characters’ skills, can only effectively be farmed through this Calyx (Crimson) activity.

A fair amount of both Immortal Scionette (and its evolutions) and Fiery Spirit (and its evolved forms) are rumored to be used in Jiaoqiu’s abilities, so players will be required to farm a lot.
As Jiaoqiu’s skills grow and his demands increase,he will allegedly start using Regret of Infinite Ochema, a weekly boss material. This item was one of the changed ones in the leak, where it was previously using Lost Echo of the Shared Wish. Only 12 copies of Regret of Infinite Ochema are needed, but given weekly limitations to boss fights, players will need tobeat Phantylia inHonkai: Star Railacross several weeks to obtain the necessary amount – if they do not already have a stock.
Also at higher levels, Jiaoqiu will use Tracks of Destiny. This is the standard rare Trace material used by every character, so it is unlikely that this will be swapped out. In total,Jiaoqiu only needs eight Tracks of Destiny. These rare items can be obtained weekly from the Simulated Universe, as well as rewards for limited-time events, Reputation systems, and the Starlight and Ember Exchange stores. Maxing out Jiaoqiu is an expensive process and, based on the leak and previous character releases, it will cost players nearly four million Credits.
Credits can be farmed at Calyx (Golden): Bud of Treasures activities.
Overall, the leaked Jiaoqiu materials do not seem too far out of line from what other 5-star characters tend to use, and most of the items seem on par with the character’s theme. The swap from Lost Echo of the Shared Wish to Regret of Infinite Ochema, for instance, brings Jiaoqiu closer to the Xianzhou Alliance, which is where he is from. Even though his materials are still subject to change, pre-farming is still a good idea if players want to max him out as soon as they beat thedrop rates inHonkai: Star Railand obtain him.
