At the start of the reboot, Frasier arrived in Boston with his nephew, David, from Seattle. The pair attended the funeral service for Martin, which Freddy missed. Since then, therevival’s focus has been on establishing Frasier’s new life back on the East Coast. That included introducing him to his new hangout spot (Mahoney’s), finding him a new apartment, and giving him a new job — a guest lecturer at Harvard. With all that settled, there was never any mention of his plans to travel to the Emerald City, even during the Christmas-themedFrasierreboot season 1 finale.
There are a few reasons Frasier would need to go back to Seattle. Firstly, it may be related to Martin. As the eldest Crane brother, he is likely the executor of his dad’s will. Secondly,Frasier’s homecoming may purely be for the upcoming KACL reunion. It seems Gil and Bulldog remain employed at the radio station, and Bebe still represents some talents there. The gathering could be for its closing, considering the increasingly difficult nature of the business. It could be the final time that Frasier can visit his former co-workers.
