Evilseason 4 is now headed into the home stretch, and viewers can expect even more demons in the coming weeks, including a particularly dangerous creature that the show’s favorite demon-fighting nun will have to face down, as teased by Sister Andrea actor Martin in a recent interview withScreen Rant. Though careful to share too many details about the demon, Martin recalled the physicality required to film the sequence, as well as hyping the “challenging” nature of the foe. Well, you haven’t seen it yet. I keep getting the last episode and the one right before it confused. It’s in the last four, this demon that I’m referring to. There was so much physicality in it. Oh my god, ah, I’m reliving it. The props, and it was difficult to hear this demon, because the prosthetics were so kind of intrusive and serious, and he had to look a certain way, and I had to rattle off — because I was battling him — a lot of words, at the same time picking up props and having to kill him. So, it was a very challenging scene with a very challenging demon. And that’s coming up, but I think the fans will be very satisfied by it.
Sister Andrea’s Demon Killing Skills Have Proven Useful In Evil Season 4
Sister Andrea first joined thecast ofEvilin season 2 and immediately became one of the show’s best characters. Sensitive to both good and evil, Andrea has helped David, Kristen and Ben by dispensing a no-nonsense brand of wisdom, even if they are occasionally skeptical of her ability to see entities no one else is able to see. Andrea’s visions have unfortunately made her vulnerable to accusations of insanity by the likes of Leland, but her resolve in the face of doubt has never wavered.
After proving herself a welcome presence on the show, Sister Andrea has been even more central to the action inEvilseason 4, notably participating in episode 8’s pivotal Antichrist baptism scene. Andrea’s ability to see demons has also ramped up in season 4, leading to a memorable sequence, teased in the season 4 trailer, in which she went after a particularly nasty word-stealing demon with a huge pair of garden shears.
Evilseason 4 will be the final season for the Paramount+ show.
Andrea’s battle with that particular demon seems to have been a prelude to an even bigger battle between the feisty nun and a still nastier monster, set to happen at some point in the final run ofEvilseason 4 episodes. Martin’s tease sounds tantalizing indeed, promising some wild prosthetic design, and lots of fun props for Sister Andrea to pick up as she tries to take down yet another supernatural monster.
