Allen, previously known for playing the Supe Popclaw onThe Boys,is set to play Dexter’s biological mother, Laura Moser, while Lewis will play his adopted mother, Dorris.

While Allen’s casting as Dexter’s biological mother may be surprising, given that the original show already covered her brutal murder in some depth, it is likely the newDexterprequel will continue providing flashbacks to his formative years. However, Allen’sLaura Moser is not the only familiar name to be revealedin the latest casting announcements, as both Hector Estrada (Mendez) and Santos Jimenez (Gonzalez) are also characters audiences have met previously.
