Will Krypto & Ace Be Part Of James Gunn’s DC Universe?
Even though no formal announcements have been made about them showing up in the DC Universe, it wouldn’t come as a shock if Krypto and Ace get included in the new franchise. Gunn is known for being a big animal person, which has been reflected in many of his films, drastically increasing the chances of seeing the beloved super-pets in the DC Universe.
There have been theories that Krypto has been hinted at in the newSupermanfilm, even though Gunn has yet to confirm or debunk those speculations. During the manySupermanset photosand videos that have made their way online, Mister Terrific was seen running down a Metropolis street, with some fans believing it to be him chasing or following a Krypto that will be inserted in post-production through CGI. However, whether or not Krypto is actually involved in theSupermanreboot or not remains to be seen for the time being.
In the case of Ace, it wouldn’t be shocking if he makes his way intoThe Brave and The Boldmovie, since it will include various members of the Bat-Family. Not only would his live-action debut be fitting for Gunn’s DC Universe, but it is another way to have the newBatmanproperty stand out from previous iterations.
