Though it took quite a while for the renewal order to finally come down,the Aussie series' third season was confirmedin April 2025. This comes nearly a year after the season 2 finale, and it seemed as if the world had seen the last of Ashley and Gordon (and the lovable Colin). A 100% score onRotten Tomatoeswas an impressive feat, but the decision ultimately came down to viewership numbers.
Season 2 concluded on July 24, 2025.
Unlike other series on Paramount+ which are expensive projects,Colin from Accountsis a low-risk-high-reward series from a financial standpoint. Husband and wife duo Harriet Dyer and Patrick Brammall are confirmed to return as producers, writers, and stars for the dramedy’s return, but few other details are known for now. It’s unclear when the series will get underway, and it all depends on whether any work was being done in the lengthy waiting period for the season 3 renewal. Ashley, Gordon & Colin Will Return In Season 3
Little is known about the cast ofColin from Accountsseason 3 so far, but three major returns have already been confirmed. With husband-and-wife duo Harriet Dyer and Patrick Brammall pulling triple-duty on the series,their returns as Ashley and Gordon, respectively, have already been verified. Another all-but-confirmed return is that of canine actor Zak as the titular character. Unlike other shows and movies which utilizea revolving door of animal actors, Zak has been the one and only Colin for both seasons thus far.
Other likely human returns include Megan (played by Emma Harvie), Ashley’s close friend and fellow med student. Gordon’s friend and co-worker Chiara will once again be played by Genevieve Hegney, and it’s expected that Michael Logo will return to reprise his role as fellow brewery worker, Brett. More cast members are expected shortly, and the series has added a slew of new characters with each successive outing thus far.

Colin from Accountshas found a way to be hilarious, heartfelt, and cringe-inducing across its two seasons thus far, and the finale of season 2 had all three in abundance. Following his father’s death, and the revelation that his father was proud of him, Gordon decided it was time to move on and settle down.This change of heart included proposing to Ashley in front of their friends, putting her in a difficult position. Unfortunately, Ashley was going through her own emotional struggles, and wasn’t able to give him an answer.
This cliffhanger will need to be addressed first thing in season 3, and it will likely color the events of the upcoming episodes.Gordon’s maturity could be the thing that eventually woos Ashleyinto accepting his proposal, but Gordon’s outrageous family, andthe fact that they may never be able to conceive still weighs heavilyon her mind. Elsewhere, the influx of money will help Gordon’s brewery for now, but running a business always has its ups and downs.Colin from Accountsseason 2 managed to outdo its predecessor, and season 3 will likely do the same.
