With the series traveling to an entirely different galaxy, bringing the mystical World Between Worlds and Nightsister witches to live-action, along with teasing the return ofthe Mortis gods fromThe Clone Wars,Ahsokaheavily leaned intoStar Wars' more fantastical storytelling. These elements of the universe, many of which had only been seen in animation, largely worked because of the areas recognized by the Emmy Awards.
Traveling to another galaxy viathe space whales known as the purrgilfelt convincing through the series’jaw-dropping visual effects and otherworldly sound editing, bringing the new galaxy and the larger-than-life creatures to fruition in live-action. The prosthetic makeup was a significant part of this as well, especially with series lead Rosario Dawson requiring it to look like the titular Ahsoka Tano. Even when compared to the character’s live-action debut in 2020, the prosthetic makeup has only gotten stronger.
