1. Use Deezer to Find a Song’s Name

In those instances, you can search for the song on Google using the few phrases you remember or try to identify the song using Shazam. But did you know that Deezer has a similar feature called SongCatcher?

To identify a song playing using SongCatcher, simply tap theSearchtab at the bottom of the Deezer app. Then, tapWhat’s this song?

Afterward, you’ll just have to wait for the app to identify the song. Of course, you can alsofind songs using Instagram’s audio tab.

2. Switch to Dark Mode

It’s hard to find an app that doesn’t let you switch to dark mode, and fortunately, Deezer isn’t the exception. If most of your apps are set to dark mode, bringing the Deezer app in line only makes sense.

To switch to dark mode, open Deezer on your phone and tapSettingsin the top-right corner. Scroll down and tapDisplay, followed byDark mode.

If you ever change your mind, you can switch back to Light mode by following the same steps and choosingLight modeinstead.

3. See the Artists Behind Your Favorite Songs With Song Credits

Have you ever enjoyed a song so much that you wanted to know who wrote it? you could view song credits on Deezer so that you don’t have to leave the app to search for that information in your browser.

All it takes is a few taps from the player, and you can see who’s behind the song you’re listening to. To view song credits, tap thethree-dotmenuunder the track artwork in the player. Next, tapSee song creditson the pop-upmenu.

4. Hide Tracks That Are Unavailable in Your Country

Sometimes you run into songs that are unavailable in your country on music streaming platforms, including Deezer. If you’re annoyed every time that happens, you might want to consider hiding those tracks, especially since there’s no point in having them remain visible if you can’t play them anyway.

To hide tracks that aren’t available in your country, open the Deezer app and go toSettingsin the top-right corner of the screen. Scroll down toExplicit content, then toggleHide tracks unavailable in your countryon.

5. Get Rid of Explicit Content

If you can’t stomach explicit songs, it might be a good idea to exclude them from your account. To exclude explicit content from your streaming experience, this is what you need to do:

First, open the Deezer app and go toSettings, scroll down and tapExplicit content. Start by toggling onDo not recommend explicit content, which will bring up the option toHide explicit content. Enable this feature if you don’t want to see explicit songs on your app. ​​​​​​​

6. Make Your Profile Private

If you’re a Premium subscriber, you can download your favorite music and listen to it offline. This feature comes in handy when you’re in an area with a spotty network connection or if you just want to save data.
