MCU Debut: Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)
Thor: Love and Thunderexpands the MCU’s pantheon of gods massively, introducing numerous figures from the Marvel Universe in roles of varying significance. One of the most notable figures featured in the movie is Russell Crowe’s Zeus, who is depicted as a hedonistic and largely ineffective ruler of the gods in Omnipotence City. Introduced inThor: Love and Thunder, Eternity is undoubtedly one of the most powerful beings in the entire MCU. Though Eternity’s role in the franchise is reduced to granting a single wish to Gorr the God Butcher, the scope of the character’s abilities in the comics is effectively unimaginable. The MCU’s own depiction of Eternity indicates that this is almost certainly the same within the franchise, making the cosmic being one of its most powerful.
As well as being immortal, Eternity can alter reality at will, and is essentially both omnipotent and omnipresent.
